Big Flop Of The Season

Gucci was just BAD.The whole 60s are back thing just doesn't do it. There is nothing I like in this collection. Frida Giannini was doing a much better job as a brunette than she is now as a blonde. Maybe the peroxide got to her head and she thought she was back in the 60s...who knows really. But one thing is for sure, it was ugly and boring. I have a hard time picturing this collection as a spring-summer one, let alone picturing it as a Gucci one. Already that we were just starting to accept her as a somewhat replacement of the "oh God he's such a genius" Tom Ford but this season she just blew it.
My suggestion to Frida, get a bottle of dark hair dye, lock yourself in your bathroom with Gucci archives from the Tom Ford era; and while you re waiting for the color to sink in, let the masterwork of Tom bring you some insight on what a collection should look like
